COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this module is to educate and improve news literacy among youth to fight the reception and implications of fake news and disinformation in the European and international context
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Educate youth on media literacy.
Enhance the ability of young people to critically analyze and evaluate news sources, helping them to distinguish between reliable information and fake news.
Combat the influence of disinformation.
Reduce the impact of disinformation on European politics and international tensions by raising awareness and providing tools to recognize and counteract false information.
- Promote democratic values and informed citizenship. Encourage informed participation in democratic processes by equipping young people with the skills necessary to navigate the modern information landscape responsibly.
